Whitney Harris

Whitney Harris spent a year abroad, studying at the Missouri School of Journalism. During that time she worked at the local daily newspaper The Columbia Missourian writing articles and working on the news desk. Upon returning to La Trobe University, Whitney organised a three-week internship with The Bendigo Weekly which turned into seven weeks paid work. From there she landed a position at The Bendigo Advertiser as a third-year cadet. Whitney is currently working as the community reporter and is working her way up to doing hard news stories. Whitney is responsible for interviewing sources, writing articles and collaborating with photographers.
